About Me

Welcome to First Grade

 Dear Students and Parents,

Happy Fall!  I would like to take this time to formally introduce myself. My name is Ms. Williams and I am very excited to be your child’s first grade teacher.  I have been a part of the Wilder’s Family for several years and I am honored to be here. This will be a positive year for your child as we build on past successes and learn new things in first grade! My philosophy is with home and school working together, your child’s academic and social skills will become even stronger throughout the year. I have a very strong passion and even greater love for teaching our darlings and helping them become responsible, self-motivated, life-long learners.

I believe that every child is uniquely gifted and has the potential to learn and succeed. Thus, it is my mission as an educator to encourage all of my darlings to have a thirst for learning, an eye for exploring, a need for retaining, and a gift for socializing to their fullest potential to obtain a array of skills needed to soar to excellence academically. I look forward to getting to know all of you and to work together as a team throughout the school year and in doing so communication will be the key to a great parent-teacher relationship.

Therefore, please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. You can send me a note, email me at [email protected] or call me at WPACS  (310) 671-5578 ext. 219. I would be more than happy to assist you as best as I can. In closing, I am looking forward to a GREAT school year and working with you and your darlings and helping them to achieve greatness. I leave with this quote from the greatest creative literary writer.

I guess it simply goes to show that stuff will come and stuff will go, but do we cry.....Goodness NO! We just keep on singing
