COVID Safety Plan
Dear Parents/Guardians, Students, Staff and Community,
As we reflect on the 2020-2021 school year, our traditional in-person 1st day of school energy was missed; however Back-To-School via Remote Learning was new and exciting, and we must reflect on the success of our 2019-2020 school year. Teachers and staff are determined to deliver an uncompromised educational experience while recognizing the difficulty in simulating social interaction which is of prime importance.
While many questions remain about the future, we remain steadfast in our commitment to our student’s education. Our actions have aligned with guidance for schools and classrooms from the California Department of Public Health, Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, and Los Angeles County Office of Education, and in collaboration with our Wilder’s Board of Trustee, we will continue with remote instruction, yet offer a comprehensive 2020-21 School Opening and Safety Plan that is safe and will provide a rigorous, high quality level of instruction.
We will closely monitor Los Angeles County’s ability to meet the requirements, as outlined by the state, for a return to in- person instruction.
Thank you for your continued support as we prepare for completing the academic year, and for entrusting your child’s education to our dedicated team of educators.
Together Apart, we will get through this difficult time. Take good care and stay safe.
With students in mind,
Ramona R. Wilder
