Elementary Uniform Policy

Uniforms

Tops

  • Girls: White short- sleeved Peter Pan blouse and Madison plaid cross ties 
  • Boys: White button-down Oxford shirt and navy blue tie
  • Navy blue cardigan sweater (with optional WPACS logo, student name is optional)

Bottoms

  • Girls: Kindergarten-3rd: Madison plaid jumpers, (No skorts, jumper of appropriate length) 
  • Girls: 4th – 5th Grade: Madison plaid skirts or skorts (No higher than 2 inches above the knee)
  • Navy blue walking shorts (August, September, October, May, June ONLY)
  • White, navy blue, or black tights (Winter months only, November – March)
  • Navy blue twill pants and black belt

Shoes

  • Shoes must be ALL BLACK with black soles and black shoestrings (Shoes with different color logos, designs, or colored tongues are not permitted)
  • White or navy blue socks (footsies, ankle socks, socks with logos are not permitted)

 

Friday Wear
Friday wear is worn only on Fridays and usually for field trips unless otherwise indicated.

  • Navy blue t-shirt (with optional WPACS logo) 
  • Navy blue warm up pants and jackets 
  • Navy blue walking shorts (August, September, October, May, June ONLY)

 

Shoes

  • Shoes must be ALL BLACK with black soles and black shoestrings (Shoes with different color logos, designs, or colored tongues are not permitted)
  • Black or white socks (footsies, ankle socks, socks with logos are not permitted)

 

Clothing that meets the above criteria may be purchased at stores that sell uniform clothing. WPACS works with the following uniform company and clothing that meets the above criteria can be purchased at:  Michael’s Uniforms, (310) 672-2170, 225 South Market Street, Inglewood, CA 90301. Free Dress

During holidays and special occasions, WPACS allows students to wear free dress or accessorize their uniforms with themed dress. If your child is not in compliance with the free dress policy you will be contacted.  If the free dress policy is broken more than once, your child will no longer be allowed to participate in any free dress days for the remainder of the school year. 

Free Dress Reminders

  • NO mini-skirts or shorts 
  • NO open toe shoes or boots of any kind (e.g., cowboy boots)
  • NO spaghetti/strapless tops or dresses 
  • NO spandex or see through clothing of any kind 
  • NO clothing with any kind of negative connotation 
  • NO exposed midriff
