Wilder's Participates in the Los Angeles King Parade, Monday January 20th (click on link for map)

Our Wilder's Choir, Step Team and Student Leaders will be participating in the Los Angeles King Parade January 20th. 

Ms. Gibson will set up Wilder's Cheering section diagonal from Audobon Junior High School (see the yellow highlighted area on the map listed "WPACS) on Cherrywood and King Blvd. She will be there at 8am. Arrive early. The main streets are often blocked and parking can be difficult. Carpooling is recommended.

Families that are watching the parade should bring their own chairs, dress in layers (it will be cold and then can get warm in the sun) and bring snacks.

WPACS Monthly Safety Drills

Once a month, Wilder's will participate in a safety drill. These drills include earthquake, fire, lock down and active shooter drills. Any parent on campus is expected to participate in the drill.

September 2019 Student Awards

Each month students will be recognized for perfect attendance and excellence in the core classes. This month we recognized students that completed Summer Reading and students that received a 4 on both their ELA and Math Smarter Balance Assessment in May 2019.

Save the Date: Harvest Festival October 26th

This year's WPACS Harvest Festival theme is CARNIVAL! There will be a Haunted House, exciting games, crafts and yummy food. Volunteers are needed to help each grade level. Sign up with your teacher. All proceeds help support WPACS field trips and activities.

WPACS Summer Reading and Suggested School Supply List 2019

Over the summer, all Wilder's students are expected to read. Each grade level has suggested chapter books. A summary report sheet should be completed for every book read. Students in grades 5-8 have an additional report that require chapter summaries and responses to several essay questions. All summaries are expected to be completed before the first day of school in August. Click on this link for more details.
