Expanded Learning Opportunities Plans
Wilder's Preparatory Academy is required to develop a plan for providing supplemental instruction and support to students identified as needing academic, social-emotional, and other supports, including the provision of meals and snacks. The plan explains how we will use the funds received through the Expanded Learning Opportunities (ELO) Grant to implement a learning recovery program for at least the students included in one or more of the following groups: low-income students, English learners, foster youth, homeless students, students with disabilities, students at-risk of abuse, neglect, or exploitation, disengaged students, and students who are below grade level.
Our Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) plan continues to provide students with meaningful learning experiences beyond the traditional school day. Through a combination of academic support and enrichment activities, ELOP is designed to help students grow, explore new interests, and stay engaged.
Students will continue to have access to academic tutoring that reinforces classroom learning and supports individual achievement. In addition, our program offers a variety of diversified enrichment opportunities—ranging from arts and STEM activities to physical fitness and social-emotional learning.
ELOP reflects our commitment to supporting the whole child by creating a safe, engaging environment where every student can thrive academically and personally.
