WPACS Authorized Charter Petitions

Charter Petition & Renewal

The charter petition is the central document to establishing a charter school in the state of California. The Wilder's Preparatory Academy Charter Schools petitions outline the key information on the proposed educational programs, student outcomes and assessments, operations, governance, policies, and how the elementary and middle school will meet legal requirements. The specific 16 requirements for this document are outlined by California Education Code Section 47605.

WPACS operates under a locally approved petition that outlines the school’s mission, instructional program, goals, and accountability measures. This petition is reviewed by our authorizing district to ensure we meet all legal, academic, and operational standards. Every five years, our schools undergo a renewal process where their performance, fiscal health, and overall impact are carefully evaluated.

We are proud to share that both of our charters has been officially renewed for another five-year term by the Inglewood Unified School District on April 8, 2026. This approval reflects the strength of our program, the dedication of our staff, and our continued commitment to student success.

We thank our community for its ongoing support and look forward to continuing to serve our students and families with excellence!
